A soft squeaky toy is inside, and outside there’s a soccer ball. He has a variety of different treats from Purina One. He enjoys walking around Ellerslie Park, which is about 1.5 miles, and loves being around people and kids.

Cute Tank Story:

I rescued him for $600 from someone posing as a preacher, who had his father on the premises. His father was too aggressive to be around, and there were 32 beagles cramped in small spaces. I adopted him over a year ago and, although I’ve tried to give him away several times, I still have him.

Now, he is an indoor pet who enjoys sleeping on your bed, though he’s fine having his own space too. He’s truly heartwarming, and I love him dearly. I want the best for him, which means finding a family that understands responsibility and will care for him throughout his life.

He’s such a good boy and doesn’t know the word “bite.” You need to protect him from male dogs that might feel threatened by him. A yard where he can run freely would be perfect for him. He’s a couch potato who loves to watch TV with you, offering unconditional love. He’s affectionate and loyal.

Why is Tank Being Rehomed?

I’ve missed Christmas for two years now because of him. I feel like I’m being unfair to myself by not allowing a wonderful family to become his new family. They would play with him more often, keep him warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and have him close to them instead of outside in a pen.

Tank’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

A sufficiently spacious home is needed for a family and house pet, along with a fenced-in backyard. It’s important to provide plenty of love and patience.

His name is Tank, and while he’s calm and often cooped up indoors, he becomes rough and playful when outside. He just wants to have some fun with his soccer ball, which has earned him the nickname “Big Messi.” Out of all the hundreds of dogs I’ve owned over my 69 years, I’ve never encountered a more lovable one.
